shar is now installed on Classes/Yeenoghu:

/usr/local/bin/shar
I have no idea why it should be in /usr/local/bin, but you should set up your Unix PATH variable (ask someone if you don't know what this is) to include both /usr/bin and /usr/local/bin. Give the command echo $PATH to see the value of this variable.

Please raise the alarm instantly if access to shar is still a problem.
