I have taken the script you offered and placed in my bin directory. I checked my $PATH variable and it appears to be set to check that location for commands. However, the only way I can execute the script is by manually typing: ~/bin/submit.pl
Could you offer some suggestions?
Also, when I do use the script, it never prints out the text like, "Executing...", or "done.\n". Do you know what the source of this problem could be?
One more thing, unless I am in the directory that contains all of the files I want to shar and send, it only sends an email to the right address, but empty, even if I specify the directory that contains the files to be "shar"ed and then sent...
