I evaluated all of the submissions that I was able to read in 2 or 3 tries, using unshar , mhn , and simple editing. In a few cases, I wasn't sure whether I had sent comments before, so I sent them again just in case. If you received the same comments more than once, please forgive the confusion. If you received different comments, let me know quickly. I also sent out messages for submissions that I was unable to read. If you didn't receive some sort of response from your submission, please contact me instantly.
For future assignments, I will only evaluate materials that are submitted in the correct format. Work with Mr. Stefankovic or Mr. Zhang to overcome any problems that you have with the method of submission. Messr. Stefankovic and Zhang are also working on a script to acknowledge your submissions instantly and automatically, including diagnostics from unshar , and to help me organize my responses. When that's done, we may change the email address for submissions. Until it's done, I'll acknowledge submissions by hand as quickly as possible, with some diagnostic output so you can see whether it worked. Of course, if you're really unsure, you should test submission by sending to yourself and unpacking in one of the CS department's Unix systems.
